Biomass is obtained by dead plant material which has solar energy locked up inside it. If you need energy you would just burn the biomass to produce steam. The steam is them turned into a fuel which is then turned through the turbine and produced into electrical energy. The trees, wich are used to prudce the steam with the dead material, are farmed. An advantage of biomass energy is that dead plant material dosent really run out because the trees are farmed. Being farmed means that they are planted and when there is dead plant material it can be used to produce steam. The steam is then turned through the turbines and then put through the generator to go off to many different houses.
